The Department of Computer Science came
into existence with the introduction of Computer Science as one of the optional
subjects at B.Sc. level in 2000. There are separate computer laboratories
for UG courses. Post-graduation course in Computer Science leading to
M.Sc.(C/S) was introduced during the session 2023-2024.
There are separate computer laboratories for UG and PG courses. Many of
our Graduate and Postgraduate students are placed in the companies that make us
feel proud.

1. DEPARTMENTAL LIBRARY
Departmental
library is equipped with 10 titles. These books are donated by various book
publishers and Teaching staff of the department. Books are made available to
the students and staff for reference purposes. The Department
has established a Departmental Library and Reading Room
to support academic teaching, learning, and research activities of students and
faculty members. The library serves as a valuable supplementary resource in
addition to the central library. The departmental library houses a good collection of textbooks, reference books, competitive examination
guides, journals, magazines, and previous years’ question papers relevant to the curriculum. These
resources are regularly updated as per syllabus requirements. Faculty members
actively encourage students to utilize the departmental library for seminar preparation, project work, assignments, and research activities. The library also supports slow
learners and advanced learners by providing additional study material. Overall,
the Departmental Library and Reading Room play an important role in enhancing academic performance, reading habits, and independent learning
among students.

well equipped Computer Laboratories and Total carpet area is 927 sq. ft.

are 20 Computers in one laboratories.
